Former private banker Yeo Jiawei remanded until May 24; No new charges filed
SINGAPORE (May 19): Former BSI private banker Yeo Jiawei, who has been linked to the global investigation into Malaysia’s state investment fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), will be remanded until May 24. No additional charges were brought against him in the Court hearing on Thursday. The total number of charges brought against Yeo remains at seven.
