SINGAPORE (Nov 25): IHH Healthcare has reported earnings of RM173.3 million ($38.1 million) for 3QFY16, a 46% jump from the earnings of RM118.5 million in FY15, due to lower foreign exchange losses on Acibadem Holdings’ non-Turkish Lira borrowings.

Excluding extraordinary items, earnings would have fallen 2% to RM217.6 million.

For the quarter to September, revenue improved 18% to RM2.44 billion, due to organic growth at its existing hospitals and maiden contributions from its new hospitals including Continental and Global Hospitals in India, and Tokuda Group and City Clinic Group in Bulgaria.
