SINGAPORE (July 26): Mapletree Commercial Trust has declared a distribution per unit of 2.03 cents for 1QFY2017, a 1% increase from the DPU of 2.01 cents in 1QFY2016.

For the quarter to June, revenue rose 5.2% to $73.4 million, on the back of higher revenue contributions from Vivocity, Mapletree Anson and PSA Building of $2.1 million, $1million and $0.5 million respectively.

However, property operating expenses increased by 10.5% to $17.1 million, due to higher staff cost, operations and property maintenance expenses, and higher advertising and promotion expenses relating to Vivocity’s 10th anniversary.
