SINGAPORE (Nov 29): MMP Resources announced that its Japanese subsidiary, MMP Resources Japan (MMPRJ), has entered into an agreement with JRT Trading to operate and manage the Chisenupuri Ski Area.

JRT is a 10-year old mechanised ski operator, which also manages a ski lodge, Hokkaido tour business and a rental business in Higashiyama, and in the business of backcountry ski operations and management.

In its SGX filing, the company will jointly run operate the ski area with JRT for the 2016/17 winter season. MMPRJ will commit about $156,000 for operational expenses incurred during the season, while JRT will provide required pre-season equipment and personnel to transport clients through the ski area.
