SINGAPORE (Sept 7): Described by some as “uneventful” and “short on substance”, the recently-concluded G20 Summit in Hangzhou was unfortunately overshadowed by a squabble over a mobile stairway.

Due to an oversight – or deliberate snub, depending on who you ask – US President Barack Obama was forced to disembark from Air Force One without the red carpet normally provided to world leaders.

But controversies aside, BNP Paribas believes there are some points “worth noting” from the G20 Summit.
