New Silkroutes shares up more than 20%, earns query from SGX

SINGAPORE (Aug 5): Shares of New Silkroutes were up as high as 23% today to hit 40 cents, on heavier than usual volume.

As at 4.33pm, New Silkroute shares were trading at 39.5 cents, with more than 1.8 million shares changing hands.

The unusual trading activity drew a query from the Singapore Exchange at 4.11pm.
