One of Singapore’s pioneering boutique hotels bids farewell

SINGAPORE (March 30): Unlisted Collection, the umbrella brand of hotelier and restauranteur Loh Lik Peng, will be officially bidding farewell to New Majestic Hotel on June 1 to make way for new developments after owning and operating the boutique establishment for 11 years.

“Over the past decade, Singapore’s hospitality landscape has seen tremendous developments. The Unlisted Collection finds this an important time to relook at the current market and explore ways to reposition itself. Elements of the brand will thus change as it continues to grow,” states the group in a press release issued on Thursday.  

Although the new development plans were not disclosed by the group, it adds that “new and exciting changes are certainly coming in more ways than one”.
