Otto Marine’s PT Batamec seizes vessel over outstanding payment

SINGAPORE (July 25): Otto Marine’s shipyard subsidiary PT Batamec has started proceedings in the Singapore High Court to seize the vessel Ratna Blessing for unpaid ship repair related charges.

Ratna Blessing is registered under RS Marine Investments, a company owned by a certain Rakesh Shankarlal Tulshyan.

PT Batamec rendered repair services to the vessel at their Batam yard in Indonesia between Dec 13, 2015 and March 21, 2016.
