SINGAPORE (Oct 28): The resignation of Nera Telecommunications chief executive officer Samuel Ang has not shaken the confidence of UOB Kay Hian which is keeping its “buy” call with 83.5 cents target.

In a Thursday note, analyst Edison Chen notes that the new acting CEO Beck Tong Hong was instrumental in driving results for the network infrastructure business.

Personal reasons behind Ang’s resignation and his staying on for another 18 months signals a peaceful transition, notes Chen.
