SINGAPORE (Jan 16): Singapore shares ended in red on Monday in line with the trend in rest of Asia.

The 30-stock Straits Times Index ended 0.4% or 11.95 points lower at 3,013.12.

Volume of shares traded was 2.8 billion valued at $817.4 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 277 to 162.
