SINGAPORE (Nov 10): Straco Corporation, the owner and operator of the Singapore Flyer and Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, posted a 3.6% fall in 3Q earnings to $22.7 million from a year ago.

Revenue fell 3.4% to $47.6 million, dragged down by lower contributions from its Underwater World Xiamen and Lixing Cable Car attractions, but partially offset by higher revenue from its Shanghai Ocean Aquarium and Singapore Flyer attractions. A weaker Chinese yuan also led to lower revenue in Singapore-dollar terms.

Overall visitation to all attractions was 2.01 million visitors for the quarter, down 1.1% from a year ago.
