SINGAPORE (Dec 15): Here are some factors and stocks that could move the market this Thursday morning:

Telcos Singtel and StarHub, M1: TPG Telecom has beaten MyRepublic to emerge victorious in the race to become Singapore fourth mobile operator. TPG made a winning bid of $105 million in the New Entrant Spectrum Auction (NESA). TPG will be required to use the allocated spectrum to provide nationwide street level coverage for 4G within 18 months from the start of the new spectrum rights, IMDA says.

GLP has launched its third US fund management platform. Dubbed GLP US Income Partners III, the platform has received equity commitments totalling US$620 million ($890 million). The transaction is immediately accretive to GLP, with its 10% equity stake of US$62 million expected to generate a 13% return-on-equity in the first year of investment. GLP US Income Partners III is expected to invest US$1.5 billion over three years. Shares of GLP closed 1 cent lower at $2.22.
