Changi Airport passenger traffic up 4.5% in July

SINGAPORE (Aug 28): Changi Airport Group (CAG) says passenger movements at Singapore Changi Airport rose 4.5% year-on-year to 5.42 million in July on the back of traffic growth recorded across all regions.

In particular, India saw passenger traffic grow 16% in July – achieving double-digit growth for the seventh consecutive month this year. Year to date, India is Changi’s sixth largest country market.

Among Changi’s top 20 country markets, Germany, United Arab Emirates and United States also achieved double-digit growth in passenger traffic during the month, CAG says in a media release on Monday.
