SINGAPORE (Oct 16): Singapore Airlines (SIA) saw its group-wide passenger load factor (PLF) improve by 2.9 percentage points to 80.8% in September.

According to the latest operational performance statistics released Monday by SIA Group, passenger carriage increased 8.3% compared to last year, outpacing capacity injection of 4.3%.

Passenger carriage is measured in revenue passenger kilometres while the capacity is calculated in available seat kilometres.
