SINGAPORE (June 24): UMS Holdings is expected to do well ahead as global spending on semiconductors is forecast to increase, according to Maybank Kim Eng.

The brokerage notes that global semiconductor association SEMI has forecast global fabrication spending to grow 24% y-o-y to US$67.7 billion ($93.93 billion).

SEMI’s bullish view is driven by demand for digital transformation, cloud services, server storage, gaming and health applications.
