SINGAPORE (May 24): BSI Bank’s Switzerland-based parent company BSI SA has announced in a press release on Tuesday that its group CEO Stefano Coduri has tendered his resignation with immediate effect.

Roberto Isolani, who is currently a member of the board of BSI, has been appointed to take over Coduri’s position as group CEO to continue running the bank. He will also be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of BSI by its Swiss rival EFG International.

The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has already approved the acquisition on condition that BSI will be integrated with EFG and thereafter dissolved.
