SINGAPORE (Feb 27): Sapphire Corporation managed to grow its FY16 earnings by 48.8% to $9.6 million over the previous year, thanks to higher contribution from its rail engineering business Ranken Infrastructure.
Revenue for the 12 months ended Dec more than doubled to $224 million.
The company now has a net order book of RMB 2.3 billion ($470 million) as at Dec 31 2016.
"The management is also following up closely on the status of its new contract bids,” states Sapphire.
Year to date, Sapphire shares have gained 9.84% to close at 33.5 cents on Monday.
