ETC’s corporate turnaround strategy bearing fruit in Yangon

SINGAPORE (March 30): OCBC expects additional acquisitions from Emerging Towns & Cities (ETC) within the next year as the group continues to prospect for quality assets in countries including other parts of Asean.

ETC recently hosted a site visit to Yangon, Myanmar, says OCBC in a Thursday note. The trip included a tour of Golden City, a property development project boasting the tallest building in the country, as well as briefing by the management.

Formerly known as Cedar Strategic Holdings, ETC was suspended from trading in April 2015 following the discovery of accounting irregularities.
