SINGAPORE (May 27): Companies and businesses have turned more pessimistic of the near-term growth prospects, according to a recent survey by Oxford Economics.

The survey polled 154 businesses from May 18 to 21 – many of whom are Oxford Economics' clients from a wide range of sectors and geographical regions.

More than 60% say that the outlook has deteriorated over the past month, with just 24% now more positive.
