As first-time homeowners with no prior renovation experience, finding the right ID can be super daunting especially with all the horror ID stories floating around and The last thing you want is to have an unpleasant renovation experience for your first house. We first spoke to Sandy in June (the 2nd ID we spoke to!) and we were really impressed with her presentation. She was meticulous and detailed. During the presentation, she focused a lot on space planning (going down to the specific measurement/ what to look out for during furniture shopping/ what is feasible/ what is not worth doing just for aesthetic). It really left a deep impression as compared to the other ID firms we spoke to. For reference, we spoke to a total of 9 IDs. We were initially skeptical as we can’t really find reviews online. However, we decided to trust our instinct and go with Sandy! And for that.. Its was the BEST decision we made! We were able to trust the entire renovation process in Sandy’s good hands! She would give prompt updates on the renovation milestones. She was super responsive throughout the entire process as well. She is always patient in answering all our enquiries! Not keeding, she always reply us within minutes! We are really pleased with the overall result and workmanship (ie. Tiling/ Painter/ Carpentry/ Electrical/ Plumber). During the handover, we only had a couple minor rectification (that speaks a lot)! All they need was patience and understanding from new homeowners so they can produce excellent results. In conclusion, we really had a super awesome experience with Sandy from De Style Interior Design and would highly recommend her to anyone! Thanks for helping us achieve our dream home, Sandy! Rapport with your ID is very important and Stanley is someone we are very comfortable talking to. We met him at an ID fair in 2007 when we engaged him for our 1st house. Being a boss and ID, Stanley does not put on airs and is very professional. So much so, we have engaged him for our previous 2, and current house. Stanley is very experienced, committed, professional, patient, helpful and trustworthy. He is able to connect with our thoughts, he helps translate our inputs and together with his ideas, creates our masterpiece house! Reno is a big project, it requires constant planning and decision making from customer and the ID. It also requires checking and feedback on work done. We know we can rely on Stanley to help us! Friends we introduced to De Style also signed up with him! We are very proud and happy with our new house. So much planning went into it. Of course there are ups and downs, chasing timelines -- something inevitable on large scale project, involving multiple parties. Stanley always tries his best to help and rectify our concern and problems. We really applaud Stanley's superb after sales service and support. He is very accommodating, he kept his word, Stanley is really professional! External vendor he introduced were also very good, such as: our Electrician (5/5 rating), our Home curtains vendor (5/5). We want to applaud De Style's group of workers. They are very professional, helpful, patient and accommodating Here's the helpful team whom made our house reno possible: 1. De Style's mirror/glass/shower team! (5/5 Star rating!!!). 2. De Style's Handyman: Shajib & Hassan. 3. De Style's Roof works & outdoor painting team. 4. De Style's Carpenter team. 5. De Style's Plumper team. 6. De Style's Sewage team. 7. De Style's Tiler / Vinyl team. 8. De Style's Disposal team. 9. And all others who made our house reno possible! In particular, here's giving big Credit to De Style's: 1) Mirror/glass/shower screen guys. They are so professional, so accommodating, so helpful, so patient. They went beyond their scope of work to help us with other complex fixture installation too. These guys really have a love and passion for their job! 2) Next, their handyman Shajib & Hassan. The Brother duo team did great in all matter big and small. They are very helpful, friendly, accommodating and patient. 3) Next is their Carpenter guy and team whom worked late nights and weekends to help rush out our carpentry. This review is long overdue but we engaged De Style a few years ago for our renovation and were assigned Chia Wei and his wife (forgot the name) for the job. His wife was only there when we signed the contract and disappeared afterwards even though she was in the group chat. At one point, I called her and she hung up on me because she was on roamin Malaysia. Chia Wei was our only contact and, despite being an ID, he didn’t have any good ideas/solutions for any of the requests we had. We eventually had to contact the owner of De Style and he waived off the last 5% of the bill. In short, would not recommend Chia Wei and his wife if you choose to go with De Style.

Dowin is dependable and reasonable. He gave professional inputs about the colour scheme as well as the design of the kitchen. The kitchen is modern, clear and easy to maintain. He also takes our feedback into consideration after work started. He was able to provide useful inputs and considerations into our needs and willing to challenge us rather than agreeing to out request. His workers have done a great job and starting work immediately. The renovation was able to complete slightly earlier than he projected. His workers also clean up the place well and willing to help move some of the bulky items. That saved us a lot of work and time for us. There were some minor issues and he dispatched his workers to resolve them quickly. I am very happy with the overall progress of the work as well as the quality of work. I highly recommend his company for renovation work.

Special thanks to Jason my ID for completing the renovation work on time. He is responsible, responsive and prompt in his services. He went an extra mile to help in the coordination while I am away for work. He has been right there helping whenever and whatever needed and I could not have completed my renovation on time without his expert consulting advice. I would like to commend him for his speedy service, professionalism and superlative skills.
