SINGAPORE (Feb 19): ComfortDelGro (CDG) says its partnership with Uber Technologies is entering the second stage of the Competition Commission of Singapore’s (CCS) deliberation with regards to the two companies’ proposed joint venture (JV).

To recap, CDG in Dec 2017 agreed to acquire a 51% stake in Uber’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Lion City Holdings, which in turn operates Lion City Rentals (LCR), a car rental company with a fleet of about 14,000 vehicles.
