SINGAPORE (July 24): Carpet specialist SMJ International Holdings has been awarded an interior design and fit-out consultancy project for the Lijiang Lilang Holiday Resort in China for a fee of RMB2 million ($0.4 million).

The consultancy agreement was signed between SMJ’s wholly-owned indirect subsidiary, Beijing Zhuoyue Tiancheng Business Management Co., and Lijiang Hong Shu Lin Tourism Culture & Real Estate Development Co.

“Our strategy to move upstream and be involved in more property related projects is bearing fruit,” says SMJ’s executive director and CEO, Rena Ho. “This is our second interior design and fit-out consultancy project and our business is growing in China with the hard work put in by our staff.”
