SINGAPORE (June 28): Over half (64%) of companies surveyed in Singapore have found ways to integrate philanthropy and volunteerism into their core business functions, according to the latest findings from the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre’s (NVPC) Corporate Giving Survey (CGS) 2017.

CGS 2017 was commissioned by NVPC to global market research and consulting firm, Ipsos, and its findings are intended to be used for policy-making and strategy development at government levels, corporates and by non-profit organisations.

For those who have managed to integrate their businesses with giving, 37% have done so with in functions such as procurement, for example by purchasing products and services from non-profit organisations.
