SINGAPORE (Apr 11): YuuZoo Corporation has denied imposing restrictions on independent reviewer Ernst & Young Advisory (EY), and says it was EY itself which made “several restrictions to the scope of engagement.”

In a filing to SGX on Tuesday night, YuuZoo’s newly-appointed chief executive officer and executive director Mohandas defended the e-commerce firm’s conduct after Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) on Apr 2 slapped it with its second notice of compliance in less than a month.

According to SGX RegCo, auditor EY said in its draft report dated Feb 23 that it was not given the necessary access to information and data required to perform the review, which was exacerbated by scope exclusions imposed by YuuZoo.
