SINGAPORE (Sept 6): Mermaid Maritime says its business units have won three subsea contracts in South East Asia and the Middle East with a combined value of US$12 million ($16.2 million).

The first contract award involves using the DP2 saturation diving vessel Mermaid Commander with a Quasar work-class ROV to carry out a 60-day inspection, repair & maintenance (IRM) project in Malaysia.

The second and third contract awards involve using DSV Mermaid Endurer with ROV to carry out survey and correction projects on subsea pipelines in the Middle East.
