SINGAPORE (Apr 18): The torch of leadership at SMRT Corp has been handed from one SAF scholar-general to another.

From Aug 1, Neo Kian Hong, who was the seventh Chief of Defence Force in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), will succeed Desmond Kuek as Group CEO at SMRT.

Kuek was also the Chief of Defence Force from 2007 to 2010 before replacing SMRT's first group CEO Saw Phaik Hwa, who served from 2002 to 2012.
