MyRepublic is launching a new platform-as-a-service spin-off company, MyRepublic Digital.
The spin-off, helmed by industry veteran Jason Ong, aims to simplify and productise digital transformation for telcos and aspiring digital brands around the world.
MyRepublic Digital launches with its flagship product Encore: a cloud-native, all-digital platform pre-built with industry-best practices, as well as operations support system and business support system (BSS/OSS) features.
This introduction of MyRepublic Digital comes as no surprise as in a previous interview with The Edge Singapore, Malcolm Rodrigues, CEO and Co-Founder of MyRepublic Group emphasised the importance of this segment, where it has also identified it as a growth engine for the group.
As at end March, this enterprise business segment saw a y-o-y growth rate of 10% and MyRepublic believes that it is in a unique position to deliver on the promise of these digital solutions to any telco in the world.
In a world where a staggering 70-95% of digital transformations fail, MyRepublic Digital’s product-centric approach has its focus on successful business execution. For instance, the company’s Encore platform is pre-configured and ready out of the box, offering unmatched deployment times and cost-efficiencies for operators looking to enter new markets.

Rodrigues says, “With network disaggregation and nationalisation becoming commonplace worldwide, there is a growing need for operators to pivot away from infrastructure-based models and digitalise. We developed the playbooks, expertise and digital services to do that when we built MyRepublic and today we see the culmination of a decade’s worth of effort with the launch of MyRepublic Digital.”
Adding on, Ong who is assuming the role of CEO of MyRepublic Digital says, “Our proven Encore digital platform and expertise are core to our capabilities and we are ready to showcase these to potential clients."
An industry veteran with over 20 years of experience building, selling, and marketing telecom platforms and services, Ong was previously APAC Region Head of Tech Mahindra's communications/media/entertainment business where he successfully spearheaded the growth of their platforms and services business.
