Oceanus Group has set up a logistics subsidiary that will complement and help grow its own rapidly growing distribution business.
With an eye on expanding the warehousing space it manages to 600,000 sq ft across the region in the next two, three years’ time, Oceanus Tradelog, as this unit is called, aims to have external customers too.
According to Oceanus, this subsidiary has recently secured a contract to supply Country Foods, a subsidiary of SATS, with both warehousing and logistics services for its frozen meat products.
Other than warehousing services, Oceanus Tradelog will also look into the distribution of frozen food products.
