SingEx says it expresses its heartfelt thanks to Bob Tan Beng Hai, who was chairman of the SingEx Board since 2010.
During his tenure, Tan oversaw the growth and expansion of SingEx’s venue management business, including the team’s securing the tender for the management of Singapore EXPO and Max Atria from the Singapore Tourism Board in 2019.

Tan also oversaw the repurposing of Singapore EXPO into a community care facility to support the national efforts on containing Covid-19, as well as the expansion of SingEx’s trade-events such as the Singapore Fintech Festival.
“While the pandemic upended the MICE industry, it has accelerated the digitalisation of the business and catalysed hybrid platforms for continued customer engagement and serving customers’ business and networking needs. As SingEx adapts to the changing MICE landscape, we look forward to working closely with Robin to transform SingEx into an agile and resilient MICE player that drives innovative MICE events and experiences in a Covid-safe world,” says SingEx CEO Aloysius Arlando.
