Temasek Holdings says it intends to launch a three tranche offering comprising a 10-, 30.5-, and 50-year USD Temasek Bond on September 29.
The bonds will be issued through Temasek Holdings’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Temasek Financial (I) Limited.
The T2020-USD, T2051-USD, and T2070-USD bonds will be issued under Temasek Financial’s US$25 billion ($34.35 billion) Guaranteed Global Medium Term Note Programme, and is unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Temasek.
The net proceeds will be used to fund the ordinary course of businesses for Temasek and its investment holding companies.
The application will be made for the listing and quotation of the T2030-USD, T2051-USD and T2070-USD Temasek Bonds on the official list of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST).
The bonds will be offered in the US only to “qualified institutional buyers” that are also qualified purchases under Rule 144A of the US Securities Act of 1933, as well as buyers outside the US under Regulation S of the Securities Act.
