Disposable gloves manufacturer UG Healthcare Corporation has announced the appointment of Lee Jun Linn as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) on Oct 21.
Lee Jun Linn, who is already an executive director at UG Healthcare, will report directly to UG Healthcare’s CEO.
UG Healthcare Corporation says its nominating committee has determined that Lee has the “requisite experience and capability” to carry out his roles and responsibilities as COO.
Lee is the son of UG Healthcare’s executive director and CEO Lee Keck Keong and Sim Ai Cheng, a controlling shareholder of the company.
He is also the brother of Lee Jun Yih who is currently the company’s executive director, finance director, and a controlling shareholder of the company.
According to an SGX filing put out by the company, Lee, who was appointed executive director of the company on Nov 20, 2014, began his career with the group as an assistant general manager of Shanghai Full-10 International Trading (Unigloves Shanghai) in April 2008.
Prior to his role as COO, Lee was responsible for UG Healthcare’s marketing strategies and expanding its distribution network.
Shares in UG Healthcare closed 7.5 cents lower or 7.5% down at 92.5 cents on Oct 21.
