Secura Group has, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Soverus, won a 48-month security services contract from the Ministry of Education (MOE).
The contract, which is worth $64.7 million, is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings per share (EPS) and net asset value (NAV) per share of its FY2022 ending Dec 31.
The contract is effective from Sept 1 to Aug 31, 2026, with an option to extend for another year.
The latest contract has brought the group’s order book to $122.2 million for contracts from the security guarding segment, of which some $19.7 million is expected to be fulfilled by Dec 31, and the remainder by August 2026.
Shares in Secura closed flat at 6.5 cents on July 29.
