Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT) has appointed Daniel Ee as chairman of the board.
Ee will succeed Koh Ban Heng, who will be retiring with effect from Feb 1.
Ee has served as independent director on KIT’s board since 2015. He is also serving on the boards of the manager of Ascendas REIT, Olive Tree Estates and Singapore Mediation Centre.
Ee previously held roles including being a director of Citibank Singapore, the deputy chairman of the Securities Industry Council, and a Fellow and Council Member of Singapore Institute of Directors.
“Keppel Infrastructure Trust, under the stewardship of Ban Heng, saw significant transformation, growing its portfolio of strategic infrastructure businesses and assets. As chairman of KIT’s board, Koh oversaw KIT’s completion of its combination with CitySpring Infrastructure Trust, and raising of $525 million of new equity to finance the acquisition of a 51% stake in Keppel Merlimau Cogen Plant.
Units in KIT closed flat at 54.5 cents on Jan 27.
