Nanofilm Technology MZH

has appointed Ian Howe as its group chief commercial officer.

Howe’s appointment will be made effective on June 15, although he has been engaged by the group as a consultant since January this year.

Howe’s most recent role was as the CEO of Dutch manufacturer Additive Industries.

Meanwhile, current group chief commercial and strategy officer Gian Yi Hsen has been redesignated as Nanofilm’s group strategy officer. Gian’s new title will take effect on June 15, the same day as Howe’s official appointment.

According to Nanofilm's June 11 filing, the changes were made to “enhance its organisational structure and collective capability to drive business growth”.

Shares in Nanofilm closed 3 cents higher or 2.03% up at $1.51 on June 9.
