SIA Engineering has announced the appointment of Lim Kong Puay, the former CEO of Tuas Power Generation, as an independent, non-executive director with effect from August 1.
He will also join SIA Engineering’s board safety and risk committee.
Lim was the CEO of Tuas Power for 14 years until his retirement in 2018.
Lim is a non-executive director of ARA LOGOS Logistics Trust Management, the manager for ARA LOGOS Logistics Trust (ALOG). He is also a non-executive director of Tuas Power Generation, Tuas Power, TP Utilities and TP-STM Water Resources.

He was previously a member of the Steering Committee on Engineering Talent Attraction and Retention in Singapore.

Lim holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Fellow in the Institute of Engineers of Singapore.
Shares in SIA Engineering closed 2 cents or 0.96% higher at $2.10 on July 29.
