SINGAPORE (22 July): Indonesian palm oil producer Bumitama Agri has announced that Chief Strategy Officer Johannes Tanuwijaya has stepped down from his appointment as of July 1, 2020.
Tanuwijaya had served as CSO since 2013, and will remain in the capacity as an Advisor of the Group.
The company said his appointment as an Advisor is to provide guidance, unbiased perspective and insights of the Group, based on his long history and vast experiences in the Company and the palm oil industry.
This includes “sharing of his rich and deep information and knowledge especially in the area of purchasing, marketing and sales with the management team and act as mentor to high potential managers.”
Shares of Bumitama Agri closed up 1%, at 50 cents on Wednesday.
