Heeton Holdings, together with KSH Holdings and Ho Lee Group have opened a new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in the exclusive London district of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The property was acquired in 2019 by the Heeton-led consortium and was previously known as the Crowne Plaza London Kensington.

It was later refurbished and re-branded as the DoubleTree by Hilton London Kensington under a franchise agreement with Hilton.

The hotel is managed by Heeton’s UK-based hospitality operations subsidiary, Heeton SG50.

According to the consortium, the re-branding of the hotel is a “vital repositioning strategy” for the post-pandemic tourism recovery.

The DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio currently has over 150 hotels in Europe both trading and in the pipeline.

The DoubleTree by Hilton London Kensington is within walking distance of many tourist attractions, landmarks and luxury shopping districts.

Shares in Heeton closed 3 cents higher or 14.3% up at 24 cents on June 24.
