The Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) has issued a query to Memiontec after the water treatment company saw its shares surge 14.1% to 56.5 cents as at 10.18am.
Memiontec’s shares, which closed 49.5 cents as at Sept 13, climbed further to an intra-day high of 57.0 cents at around 10.32am.
The query, which came in at 10.18am, noted the counter’s “unusual share price movements”.

In the same filing, SGX RegCo has asked Memiontec to release any possible information that might have led to the increase in share price. It has also asked the company to confirm its compliance with the Catalist rules.
As at 4.32pm, shares in Memiontec are trading 6 cents higher or 12.1% up at 55.5 cents.
