SINGAPORE (Nov 19): Montblanc got it right when it paired digital capabilities and fine watchmaking with the launch of the Summit smartwatch in 2017. This year’s offering, the Summit 2, is built for travel, fitness or exploration, according to Montblanc CEO Nicolas Baretzki. “Summit 2 is a versatile companion created for urban explorers, business travellers and performance seekers looking to push boundaries in everything they do,” he says.

Summit 2 offers a choice of watch face combinations from the brand’s well-known collections such as the 1858, Bohéme Date and Bohéme Classic. In all, there are more than a thousand combinations to pick from as you can customise indicators, backgrounds, hands and complications.

Digital features include a Google Assistant that updates your flight status, makes restaurant reservations and does translations, among other things.
