SINGAPORE (Aug 20): This summer, Prada Tropicandy joins the Prada Candy family. The new limited-edition collection is filled with the scents of a floral garden. These are represented by ingredients such as caramel with musk, while warm notes of benzoin tone down the sweetness of the fragrance. The bottle’s design has a 1950s vibe to it, with bright bold colours of pink and gold. For this launch, each bottle is adorned with a flower charm, which you can use in any creative way you want. We suggest that you tuck it in your hair and go about your day in the city. Available at Takashimaya, Tang Plaza, Metro Paragon and Metro Centrepoint.

Ladies' version
Patek Philippe has launched the new Ref 7234R-001, a feminine interpretation of the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time. With a second time zone and a local-time date, this watch is the first self-winding Travel Time model in Patek Philippe’s collection for women. The dial features applied sculpted rosegold numerals with a white luminous coating, broad luminous baton-style hands and a prominent orange “1” of the analogue date on the subsidiary dial at six o’clock. A subtle black gradation towards the periphery and its selfwinding calibre 324 S C FUS provide an easily adjustable display of the second time zone. The new Ref 7234R-001 Calatrava Pilot Travel Time comes with a vintage brown calfskin strap secured with a rose-gold clevis prong buckle.

Time-honoured tradition
Tudor has expanded its Black Bay line with a new model that has a multiple time zone function — the Black Bay GMT. Apart from the local time, the time in two additional time zones is indicated by Tudor’s hallmark, a red snowflake hand. Its winding crown tube is in satin-brushed steel, which is new for the Black Bay line. Like other models in the line, the Black Bay GMT features a dial inspired by the Tudor divers’ watches produced in the 1950s, and its matt burgundy and blue rotatable bezel give it a modern neo-vintage aesthetic. Beating at its heart is a new manufacture calibre with the reference MT5652. The Black Bay GMT features a 41mm steel case and is waterproof to 200m.

Ocean spirit
Inspired by the sea and the French and Italian Rivieras, Hublot offers fans the Spirit of Big Bang Blue. In this timepiece, the brand successfully captures the essence of the ocean with a blue microblasted and polished ceramic on the iconic tonneau-shaped case and bezel. The watch has the automatic skeleton chronograph movement, HUB4700, and a power reserve of 50 hours. The blue theme continues with a blue alligator strap stitched onto white rubber. Available at The Hour Glass in limited quantities.
