AMTD’s Calvin Choi explains why he is drawn to what Singapore is doing to grow the FinTech ecosystem

Calvin Choi, chairman and CEO of AMTD Group, is no stranger to the Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF). His financial services conglomerate, which has been actively involved in the local FinTech industry, has been a major sponsor of the annual event since its inception in 2017. In fact, Choi has been one of the prominent speakers at SFF over the years.

Unsurprisingly, AMTD Group — a financial conglomerate engaging in investment banking, asset management, digital intelligence and marketing, insurance risk solutions, professional advisory services, real estate, education, and strategic investments — will return to SFF this year as one of the grand sponsors.
