SINGAPORE (Sept 22): Global eTrade Services (GeTS), a subsidiary of government focused e-solutions company CrimonLogic, has launched a freight forwarder community-centric platform named ‘hive’ to facilitate connectivity between freight forwarders, their business partners, and customs agencies.

The platform’s name stands for “highly interconnected & vibrant e-trade”, while the initiative is championed by the ASEAN Federation of Forwarders (AFFA) and Singapore Logistics Association (SLA).  

hive, which is powered by GeTS, is designed to make trade easier, more accessible, and predictable by enabling businesses to meet trade compliance requirements for customs authorities worldwide, says the company in a press release on Friday.
