SINGAPORE (Nov 22): Autonomous buses and shuttles could be serving commuters in Punggol, Tengah and Jurong Innovation District (JID) from 2022.

This according to a joint press release by the Ministry of Transport (MOT) and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on Wednesday.

The autonomous scheduled services will complement human-driven public buses, and will initially travel on less crowded roads.
