SINGAPORE (March 17): USP says Scientific & Industrial Instrumentation (SII), its 51% subsidiary, has started legal action against various parties on Wednesday.

The defendants are two of SII’s former directors, three former employees, a local company and two other individuals.

In a filing before the market opened this morning, the defendants are alleged to have, either individually or in combination, breached their fiduciary duties to SII; breached their employment and contractual duties to the company and conspired with unlawful means.
