Vard wins contract to build aquaculture vessel

SINGAPORE (Nov 3): Vard Holdings, the shipbuilder of specialised vessels, has secured a contract for the construction of one service vessel for Midt-Norsk Havbruk in Norway.

The vessel is specially designed for fish farming operations, based on Midt-Norsk Havbruk’s aquaculture industry expertise.

Newly developed by the customer in close cooperation with Marin Design, it will be equipped with a state-of-the-art deck machinery for handling and maintenance assignments.
