SINGAPORE (Nov 29): Yoma Strategic Holdings has engaged two construction companies to build Yoma Central and The Peninsula Yangon, both of which sit on a 10-acre site in Yangon with a combined contract value of over US$400 million ($538 million).

In a Wednesday filing, the group says main works will include civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heritage works for its two projects.

Yoma Central is an integrated real estate development spanning a total gross floor area (GFA) of about 2.44 million sq ft, and will feature Peninsula-branded luxury residences, two Grade A office towers, a business hotel, serviced apartments, and a retail podium.
