As couple are working professionals, the timeline for project completion was tight, and they aimed to unveil the revamped space before Christmas 2023. During the initial briefing, a creative challenge emerged as the family wished to seamlessly integrate numerous existing furniture items, including a cherished traditional Chinese rug, into the new design. This intricate rug, a sentimental vintage piece, became a focal point that inspired fabric choices and influencing the selection of complementary vintage pieces within the living room.

While the architect laid the foundation with a modern frame, the interior design scheme crafted by Black and Milk took a transitional approach.
