During Milan Design Week, V-ZUG unfolds its vision and inspirations through a series of engaging events. At the Pinacoteca di Brera, the installation "Time and Matter," a collaboration between Elisa Ossino and HENRYTIMI, delves into the interplay between humanistic design and ancient materials, alongside the continual evolution of kitchen technology. This same theme serves as the muse for the new V-ZUG Studio at Piazza San Marco 4. To further explore this captivating subject, V-ZUG hosts the Monocle Talks, featuring some of the most visionary and forward-thinking minds of our time.
V-ZUG stands as Switzerland’s premier brand for household appliances, extending its reach to selected premium markets globally. With a heritage spanning 111 years, the company has consistently developed and manufactured kitchen and laundry appliances in Switzerland, complemented by comprehensive service offerings across all its markets.

Humanistic design and technology in the kitchen.
Elisa Ossino unveils a distinctive installation born from a collaborative exploration with V-ZUG, delving into the evolving dynamics between human experiences, design, technology, and materials, in partnership with HENRYTIMI. Located in the Sala della Passione at Pinacoteca di Brera, the exhibition enriches the concept of humanistic design, where the intricacy of objects harmonizes with a quest to connect with the essence of materials. Ossino labels her aesthetic and formal investigation as 'techno-archaic'.
The installation embodies a tactile tension, showcased through the interplay between the mirrored surfaces of V-ZUG appliances, the meticulously sculpted stones, and the rugged textures of towering totems and monolithic structures. This symbiotic relationship between Elisa Ossino and HENRYTIMI, an artist renowned for elevating natural materials through sculpture, yields not only the installation but also a capsule collection of uniquely numbered artworks. This collection symbolizes the fusion of art and materiality, infusing technology with an ethereal essence that merges ancient wisdom with contemporary innovation. Complementing the installation is a captivating video crafted by visual artist Stefano Roveda.
