Singapore FinTech Festival 2024 (SFF 2024) has opened global nominations for the FinTech Excellence Awards or the Awards, now in its ninth edition, to recognise innovative Fintech solutions by corporates and individuals.
This year’s festival will be held from Nov 6 to 8, and the deadline for the submission for the Awards is Aug 8.
The Edge Singapore has been one of the SFF’s official media partners since its inception in 2016. SFF 2024 will examine the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing in revolutionising financial services and to deliver sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
This is a collaboration between the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA), and is supported by PwC Singapore. The release calls for submissions who are leaders in spearheading the use of new technologies to transform industry practices and the delivery of financial services, create new growth opportunities, and promote financial inclusion.
There will be a total of six award categories — emerging fintech, financial inclusivity, regulatory leader, sustainable innovator, thematic (AI and quantum champion), and fintech mentor. Of which, there will be eight award winners.
This year, the categories have been revamped to be more “outcome-focused” with the inclusion of a thematic category which encompasses AI and quantum champion, the release notes.
