Seatrium has successfully delivered its floating production unit (FPU) for deployment in the Gulf of Mexico.
The FPU, which was for the contract that was signed with Shell Offshore in November 2019, was delivered on time and within the budget.
The completed FPU comprises a topside module and a four-column semi-submersible floating hull of over 22,000 tonnes.
The project is said to have scored 96% on international standards for health, safety, and environment and complies with the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) 577 standards as well as the US Coast Guards statutory requirements.

Shares in Seatrium closed 0.4 cents lower or 3.31% down at 11.7 cents on Oct 19.
